Gatzeas ways - The living room

The beach house is a dreamy Greek vacation maisonette, right on the seashore of the beautiful and calm coast of Western Pelion.

This lovely bright and airy house Designed in a light minimalistic style, but yet fully equipped to accommodate a perfect family vacation.

 

In the entrance area there is a comfy living room with a Kitchen, and a large Balcony that invites you to just relax, and enjoy the blue views and the sea breeze.

In the kitchen you will find all you need to fix a tasty & healthy meals (when you are in an 'eating at home' kind of mood), including a brand new microwave, refrigerator, oven, stove and a coffee machine.

On the first floor there is a spacious master bedroom, with a fabulous balcony overlooking the breath taking Pagasetic Bay . 

In the ground floor there is a large pleasant children room with 3 single beds and a cozy family area. There is also a kids bathroom, with a shower and a toilet bowel.

From the living room and the family room there are exit doors to the courtyard, from which, a few steps away, on a magical private path, you will reach an isolted spectacular beach.

In the yard, next to an old olive grove, there is another seating area, and a BBQ facility.

 

From the private parking lot at the top of the complex, you will descend a short Staircase to the beginning of your Greek experience.

Gatzeas ways - a family home for rent in Pelion, Greece

The beach house is part of the beautiful seaside settlement of Kato Gatzea.

It is located only 15 km far from Volos, the main (and only) city of Pelion. With a population of about 150,000, it is the urban side of the peninsula.  Volos is a western city with a modern hospital, a university, and an active boat harbor, from which you can sail to nearby islands, such as famous Skiathos. 

 

The house located 10 minutes drive from Agria, which is a wealthy suburb of Volos, where you can pass by a small fishing boat marina and find some nice taverns and restaurants, but most important - a big supermarket, in which you can stop and do your groceries Buying.

From the southern side, only 8 minute drive away, you will reach the gorgeous sandy beaches of Southwest Pelion such as Afissos Beach, Boufa beach etc'. One minute's drive is all it takes to reach Rivera Beach Club, which is a highly recommended resort to spend a lazy day nearby…

Spoil yourself with a Greek Frappe or cold strawberry margarita, or enjoy one of the water sports activities available on site. Entrance to the beach is free!

 

The area of ​​Pelion is known from Greek mythology as the country of the Centaurs (mythology wild creatures with upper body of a human, and the lower body and legs of a horse) and the Argonauts (a group of marine heroes in Greek mythology), and the place where weddings and ceremonies of Olympian gods, took place. Pelion is named after King Peleus, the husband of sea nymph Thetis and father of Achilles.

It was, and still is the favorite place for many locals to spend their vacations. You will fall in love too!

The ways to here is Smooth & Easy: Pelion can be reached easily by car about 3 and a half hours drive north from Athens or 2 and a half hours from Thessaloniki. Both ways are on the 75E motorway between Athens and Thessaloniki.

Note that there are toll roads on the way.

For those who do not want to drive, there is a daily line departs several times a day, from Athens-Liosia Station's at 6 Rikaki Street, to Volos. The pleasant ride takes 4 hours and includes a 20 minute stop for coffee and refreshments, in a luxurious air-conditioned bus with wifi and fantastic views from both sides of the road, at a price of 30 euros per person in one direction. You can order tickets online and choose your seat (on the way to Volos it is worth sitting on the right side of the bus, not on the driver's side) and from the road you can see the island of Evia and the bays that are created between the land and the Aegean Sea. The first bus from Athens leaves at 7 am, and the last one at 22:00 at night. The bus leaves on time!

In Volos, a short distance from the central bus station located number of car rental companies. Note the opening hours of the stations (It may be closed at noon so you can't collect or return vehicles)!.
